A few weeks and now 19 weeks...

Guys, these past few weeks seem like they happened in 3 months and in 3 minutes all at the same time. How does that happen? I sure dont know! Well last time I updated we just found out baby is a girl...and after our gender reveal party we drove to Shreveport to leave Longview for good...and we had renters move in the next day! It was super unexpected but so glad God provided at literally the last minute! pregnancy update!!!

Im sure most of you saw this on facebook, but I couldnt resist sharing it here. On the left I was 25 weeks pregnant with Ki (I only knew that because I blogged about it!) and Audrie was like 1 and 1/2 not really sure just guessing on that one. On the right, I was barely 17 weeks and Audrie is 5.

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 19 weeks right now and in this picture

Size of baby: Sweet Potato

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  3 pounds gained (it helps to be tall!)

Maternity Clothes: Uh...yes!

Gender: Girl- Leslie Rene

Movement: I have been feeling her since about 17 weeks, each week getting stronger. Last night GT got to feel her for the first time! She was kicking hard!

Sleep: Pretty good. Ive been sick so a few rough nights but overall good.

What I miss: Energy

Cravings: Cheddar Peppers from Sonic, Onion Rings from Whataburger, Sour Candy and Lemonade

Back pain...UGH! This just started. And the dreaded heart burn. BOO! But if that means she is growing hair for a bow then I'll take it.

Best Moment this week

Well this week hasnt been easy. Really the past month has been hard. And honestly, sometimes I have negative thoughts that I didnt have or dont remember having the last two pregnancies.

When I am having a rough day with the kids I think how am I going to bring a new life into this world? How can I handle these 2 plus a BABY?!? How am I going to survive missing sleep and function enough to even get these kids breakfast?

The answer- God's grace."My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.                                                                                                                          2 Corinthians 12:9

This is really strange to say but I have found encouragement and new way of thinking this week due to the abortion video going around this week. Last night I broke down watching a news clip and God reminded me that He made this life growing in me too. Its going to be hard. We are going to have bad days. This is His plan and His life. And my job is to rely on His grace to get us through.

It's A Girl!!!

Most of you have already seen on facebook but I wanted to share the details of our gender reveal party!

Some of my very best closest friends in Longview threw us a going away/gender revel party! When GT and I drove up we both said, "I cant believe all these people are here for us!". God has blessed us so much with an awesome community and church family in Longview. I am most sad to leave them. We know God has called us to move forward...having a church family like this is rare and so much appreciated.

So now some pictures from the night:

After some yummy desserts, we went outside for the big true Ki fashion, he had to go use the bathroom right before, so we were all waiting on him.

My sweet friends waiting to find out!

I quizzed the kids to see what they thought! I think we had more votes for girl...

A little blurry but pulling out the PINK balloons!

Yay for a girl! (Ever since I heard the first heart beat, I knew it was a girl!)

Audrie a little more excited then Ki.

And now... for the sweet baby girls name... (and proof it is really a girl)

For those who might not know- Leslie is my mom and Rene is GT's mom.
